Two out of three for Saints Cross Country

The St. Clair men's cross country teamearned two out of the top three major awards at the annual athletics banquet.


The Saints were dominant winning every event they ran including the National Championship. Head Coach Paul Boots was recognized with the St. Clair Varsity Coach of the Year award. Boots guided his team the program's first OCAA gold since 1990 and first ever national title. Under Boots the Saints have been to the nationals in each of his four years at the helm.


Tyler Jones brought home the Al Hoffman Male Athlete of the year award. The second year runner was named an OCAA first team allsta, earned All-Canadian honours finishing 10th at nationals and won two gold medals this past season.
