Hurtubise rides momentum to win at Ambassador

Tyler Hurtubise earned his second straight victory after shooting an even-par round of 71 at Ambassador Thursday during event number four. "I put a lot of range time in between rounds, but confidence from playing well Monday certainly played a big part" said thePointe West golfer who also clinched the Widdifield Cup given to the golfer with the best scores during the last two events.

He says the highlight of his round was only missing two greens in regulation all day and both were par three's. "The driver was the best club in my bag"

For the third time this summer Jillian Friyia came out victorious after posting a 4-over-75. "Happy to get the win today. I hit the ball very well but struggled on the greens" said the London golfer. "My favourite moment was on seven when I made a 15-foot putt for eagle.

Alex Saroli shot a bogey free four-under-67 to win the Collegiate men's while Brooke MacKinnon broke through for her first tour victory of the season with an even-par-71.
