Getting drafted by the Edmonton Oilers still hasn't fully sunk in with Lakeshore's Ty Tullio. "It still doesn't feel real but I know over the next few days it's going to sink in more and more".
Taken with the second pick in the fifth round Tullio was rated 52nd amongst North America skaters heading into the draft. "Honestly, it was worth the wait and I can't even really explain my feelings".
The 18-year old, who scored 27 goals and had 66 points in 62 games with the Oshawa General this past season, is hoping to play with Connor McDavid and Kingsville native Zack Kassian one day.
"They are a team I definitely can see myself fitting into with the type of game I bring to the table".
Windsor Spitfires' forward Will Cuylle was chosen in the second round and 60th overall by the New York Rangers while his teammate was picked 75th overall by the Colorado Avalanche.
