Agosta continues tradition

Meghan Agosta recently brought her high performance hockey school to Essex-County. The Ruthven, Ontario native hosted a camp in Leamington for the first time before closing out her trip home at the WFCU Centre. The 32-year old is a new mom and says she is focused on playing in a fifth Olympics Games in 2022 in China.

Once a student, goalie Erica Fryer is now a camp instructor. The 18-year old had a standout rookie season for the University of Toronto earning USport athlete in February. The Villanova grad backstopped the Blues to the OUA final where they lost to Guelph. Fryer says she has always looked up to Agosta and wants to play for Canada's national team one day.
